Pravah Jaipur
Pravah Skill Development Centre, is an initiative by Mala
Jaipuria Foundation in the campus of Delhi Public School,
Jaipur. It was inaugurated by Ms. Dhara Jaipuria, Pro Vice
chairperson, DPS Jaipur, on 23rd April 2015 with a total of 127 trainees
registered under various courses. The motive to start this community service
is to enable our financially weak youth to be independent and be able to
earn their living. In her inaugural speech, Ms. Jaipuria expressed that it
is our moral and social responsibility to hold the hands of the youth of
weaker sections of society and do something for them which will help them to
be independent citizen in society. Courses like Beauty Care, Electrical,
Cutting & Tailoring, Basic Computer and Advance Hardware Networking are
offered and training is given by professionals. These courses run in the
morning and in the evening. Students are also provided transportation and
refreshment free of cost. The classes commenced on April 6th, 2015 with a
great response from the public.
